Secular Connect is currently looking for a full-time systems architect, lead programmer and technology mastermind. This 501(c)(3) nonprofit is dedicated to providing innovative tools for to fuel the growth and coordination of humanist, atheist and other secular groups from the national to the local level. With support from the Richard Dawkins Foundation for Reason and Science we are working closely with all the members of the Secular Coalition for America to design, build, deploy and maintain a permanent technology infrastructure for a community that supports and benefits from science, and promotes a compassionate, inclusive and fulfilling society.
All of our projects share the common goal of creating an open, transparent, and shareable infrastructure. Embracing the open-source culture from a scientific viewpoint, we will experiment with new ideas and build the tools to make those ideas succeed.
The successful applicant will be a founder-level team member, helping to hire and manage other developers, choose the right technologies for each task and shape the company culture.
